How does shipping work?

We ship domestically, within Canada, and to the United States using Canada Post. Canadian customers are charged taxes based on provincial rates and American customers are responsible for import taxes/duties placed on the order by customs.

If I live in Toronto, can I pick up my order?

Absolutely! If you live near our Christie Pits studio and would prefer to pick up your order, simply choose the FREE click-and-collect option at checkout. We will notify you via email as soon as it's ready!

What exactly is involved in the production of my piece?

Every single piece is hand fabricated or carved in wax and cast in gold using the lost wax casting method. It is then polishing by hand, engraved by hand and the gemstones are set by hand! We are committed to a high standard and want every detail to be just right! This process takes time. 

How quickly can I get my jewels?

Due to the nature of our pieces, production requires 2-4 weeks from the time of payment, not including shipping time. If you need your order rushed, please contact us here and we will do our best to accommodate!

Do you accept returns or cancellations?

Our pieces are final sale. Most of our pieces are made to order and cannot be returned or cancelled once production has begun. We cannot refund items that have been lost or damaged in transit back to our studio for sizing or repair.

If your ring is the wrong size please continue to the next question where you'll find our sizing policy.

What should I do if my ring doesn't fit?

We will gladly size it for you at no cost, within one month of purchase! Beyond that timeline, there may be a resizing fee applied. You will be responsible for shipping costs (including tracking number and insurance) to and from our studio. Contact us at hello@jessicastuartjewelry.com for more details and to coordinate shipping. Alternatively, you can have it sized locally. 

Please note: To ensure the integrity of the ring, it cannot be sized up or down more than one size. If you bring it to a local jeweler for sizing, Jessica Stuart Fine Jewelry is not responsible for any damage incurred.

My ring size isn't listed in the drop down menu!

We do offer quarter and half sizes, as well as sizes above 8, on all of our rings. Please leave us a note in the special instructions box at checkout indicating your exact size and we will produce it as specified.  

How do I add the initial(s) I want engraved on my piece?

How can I find out my ring size?

We strongly recommend a trip to your local jeweler to be professionally sized. *Psssst: Try to make sure the thickness of the ring sizer is similar to (if not the same) as the thickness of the band of the ring your purchasing*

Alternatively....

Wrap a piece of floss or paper (something that doesn't stretch) around the widest part of your finger. Mark the spot where the end meets. Remove the string and measure against a ruler (in mm) from the end to the place marked. Remember to be as precise as you can! This gives you the circumference. Email us or make a note in the check out section with the measurement in millimetres and we will calculate your size for you!

Will my stone look exactly like the one pictured online?

Our stones are made by mother nature herself! There will inevitably be natural variations within each and every stone. While we have hand selected for quality, cut and colour, we cannot guarantee they will look exactly like the colours photographed on our online platforms. 

Can I customize a ring I like with a specific stone or setting type?

For sure! We love hearing your ideas and are happy to accommodate customization requests. Though some stones are softer than others and may not be compatible with a particular design. Contact us here to discuss further!
